Naturtex is a 100% Hungarian-owned, family-run company founded in 1989, providing the best products to excite its customers with a unique sleeping experience!

The main profile of the company is the production and distribution of quilts and pillows filled with feather/down, wool, natural and synthetic fibers. In addition, we offer a wide range of bedspreads, bed linen, memory products, blankets and bath linen – such as towels, bath mats and bath robes. 

Naturtex is the leading bedding product brand in Hungary, with a market share of around 35%. However 80% of all turnover comes from exports to more than 60 countries worldwide.

Naturtex has been in business for more than 30 years, always insisting on efficient and sustainable production, in line with international standards and at the highest quality possible, no matter the pricing level. With 100% production in Hungary and an increase of our production capacities from 2020, we look forward to the decades to come.

    The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
    The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a global not-for-profit organisation and the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. The Better Cotton Standard System is a holistic approach to sustainable cotton production which covers all three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social and economic.
    The GRS is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions. The goal of the GRS is to increase use of Recycled materials in products and reduce/eliminate the harm caused by its production.
    IDFL is the world's largest down and feather testing laboratory – 12.000 tested samples per year, 50.000 tests per year, clients in 52 countries worldwide. Naturtex operates a down and feather laboratory which is certified and audited by IDFL on a regular basis. www.idfl.com

    Downpass: it provides a traceable way of down and feather and it also ensures the welfare of the animals
    Responsible Down Standard – ensures that down and feathers were not plucked from live animals. Any removal of down and feathers from live birds (live-plucking or molt-harvesting) is prohibited. Force-feeding is prohibited. Holistic respect for animal welfare of the birds from hatching to slaughter. RDS down and feathers is properly identified; to ensures that non-RDS down and feathers are not mistakenly identified as RDS. Each stage in supply chain is audited by a professional, third party certification body. Only products with 100% certified down and feathers carry the RDS logo.
    Nomite - The company is member of European Bedfeather and Bedding Industries, and our products are suitable for persons suffering from house dust allergy.
    This certificate assures that our company operates according to the STEP requirements in terms of chemicals, environmental performance, environmental management, social responsibility, quality management and safety.
    Our duck and goose down and feather filling according to EN 12934 meet human-ecological standars established, and are safe for use.
    The “Grüne Punkt” is protected worldwide and is mainly used in Europe as a financing symbol for participation in dual collection and recycling systems.
    The original Hungarian Goose Down label guarantees that the product is of Hungarian origin. The certification is performed by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK). The label also contains an anti-forgery data storage chip, which contains further product information.
